Fazua Top-Tube Controller

Hi,
I've just taken delivery of a Fazua equipped gravel bike. The level controller touchpad does not respond at all which may be corrected by intervening with the Fazua Toolbox application to adjust sensitivity. But I'm also concerned that the on/off button requires an extremely hard push to activate and has no tactile feedback. Is this normal? I only have my Bosch equipped eSuss to compare it with which has a wonderfully tactile and clicky controller.
